Your action-packed day at Delta Force Paintball has arrived. You and your team make your way to your pre-selected paintball centre, hyped to the max, for a big session of fun. But you wonder, how exactly does this work? What happens when you get in there?

The nutshell version is simple: there are two 3-hour sessions: morning, which starts at 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., and afternoon, which is from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. You can select a session when you book, check in, get dressed in paintball gear, listen to a quick talk and learn about your gun, and then go shoot other players with paintballs and laugh a lot.

The more in-depth version of how your session will progress is something like the following:.

Once out of the car, you’ll make your way toward the entrance. You are likely to join the queue where an enthusiastic staff member, manning a table full of goodies, will show all those willing to listen various ways they can upgrade their sessions. Cool stuff and good information while you make your way to the registration table. Did you and your group fill out the online registration before coming along? If you did, good move. You don’t have to wait for a spare spot at the table. Give your name to the waiting marshal, and you’ll skip through to the next stage of your session.

As you flow through our base camp, you’ll be handed your combat kit for the session. All the gear (or similar), except the gun you see in the image here, is yours free for the session with your entry fee. It’s up to you how much of it you wear, of course, although wearing a paintball mask is compulsory. Most of this gear is unique to Delta Force Paintball and has been developed and custom designed by and for us over many years to become the best in the industry. Time to find a spot in base camp to settle into and get set up to play. This is your safe zone for the session, and the high fencing ensures no stray shots get in. There is no need to wear the mask yet. You can buy a snack or drink or even extra paintball ammo if you wish.

Put simply, nobody gets to play paintball until the marshals are certain everyone has been attentive during the short safety speech. You’ll learn how to stay safe out there and what to do when you are hit or need a marshal for any reason. You’ll learn how to use your paintball gun properly as well, so it’s well worth listening and concentrating. Teams are also created from the various groups of players present.

Armed with the knowledge you need to get out there and have a blast, it’s time to put your mask on, head through the gun locker, and receive your weapon. Out in the field, this is your best friend, so look after it. Paintball started as a way to mark trees in the forestry industry, so you’ll hear the marshals calling these markers, which is the correct name. Want to fire off a few rounds before the battle begins? Immediately after receiving your marker, you’ll see a practice target range where you can squeeze off a few shots to get your eye in. Suddenly the confidence builds; let’s go play paintball.

Our team of professionally trained marshals is an integral part of your paintball experience. Unlike others who may seem disinterested, our marshals are passionate about their role. They guide you to the game zone, which boasts top-notch layouts, and provide a lively briefing before each game. They actively participate in battles alongside you, serving as leaders, medics, spotters, and referees. And if you think they’ll let you face the enemy alone, you are definitely mistaken. Your marshals will run into battle with you without ever firing a shot. That’s your job. They ensure everyone, especially younger players, enjoys the game safely while offering tips and encouragement to achieve objectives.

Before you know it, your first game will be over, and you’ll know if you have Rambo’s blood coursing through your veins as you unload volley after volley of ammo onto the enemy players or whether you are more of the silent assassin type. Will you lead your group to victory? Or will you be one of the highly valued soldiers dutifully executing your leader’s orders? Whoever you are, with a weapon in hand and under enemy fire, you’ll soon know.

As the day draws to a close, a tinge of sadness settles in as you gather with your group one last time. Excitement fills the air as you enthusiastically recount the day’s exhilarating action. However, the marshals signal that it’s not quite over yet—it’s time for the presentation ceremony. Scores from the sessions are tallied, and the marshals announce their recommendations for the Top Gun awards. Cheers erupt as the winning team is revealed, with individuals recognized for their bravery and outstanding contributions.

After returning your gear and bidding farewell to the dedicated marshals, it’s time to head back to the car. But the journey home is anything but dull. The group is still buzzing with energy, eager to share tales of their own heroics and triumphs from the day’s missions. Another unforgettable session at Delta Force Paintball comes to a close, with promises made to return echoing throughout the car. And indeed, many will be back for more adventures.
